An Extremely Late New Year’s Post!

So there was this perfect storm of a) things getting super busy at the day job, b) me getting sick, and c) some extra projects, by which I mean I took some vacation time and played a ton of Hyrule Warriors with my lady-spouse.

I’ll admit that c) is a pretty lousy excuse.

Anyway! What I’m trying to say is that the comic is in no way dead. Here’s what’s on the map for this year so far:

Approximately 20 more pages to conclude the current story arc. Updates will resume… let’s say February 2, and if I have something ready before then, hooray for super bonus updates.

Next story! So, I haven’t scripted anything for the next arc yet, mainly because I haven’t yet decided if I want to immediately pick up the thread from Corva’s story, or switch to a new set of characters. I’m currently working on a short story about a character named Quinn who is salty because a bird-spider ate her boot, and I haven’t decided if I want to turn that into a comic script or just post it as a short story when it’s done. The advantage of keeping it as prose is that I can provide a complete story all in one go, while still making new comic pages. We’ll see how it goes. I’ll share some character designs soon.
